Beşiktaş secured a 3-2 victory against Hoffenheim at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena in Sinsheim during the second matchweek of the UEFA Europa League, Habertürk reported. The result lifts the Turkish side to six points after two matches in the league phase, while the German club remains without a point.

Beşiktaş reclaimed the initiative shortly after. In the 73rd minute, Junior Olaitan slid an incisive pass to Hyeon-gyu Oh, who drove into the penalty area and finished past the keeper. The South Korean striker struck again in the 79th minute, tapping in a cross from İlhan Fakılı at the edge of the six-yard box to make it 3-1. Hoffenheim trimmed the deficit in the 88th minute when Vladimir Coufal swung in a corner from the right and Machida rose at the back post to head home, sealing the 3-2 final scoreline.
Orkun Kökçü Exits With Injury
Beşiktaş captain Orkun Kökçü was forced off before halftime. The midfielder suffered a knock inside the opposing penalty area during the opening period and received lengthy on-field treatment. Though he initially tried to continue, the pain proved too severe, and he was replaced by Fabio Miretti at the start of the second half.

Traveling Support and Crowd Atmosphere
According to Ajansspor, approximately 15,000 Beşiktaş supporters filled sections of the 30,150-capacity Sinsheim venue, creating a home-like atmosphere with continuous chants including Burası İnönü buradan çıkış yok
(This is İnönü, there is no way out of here
). The strong away following turned the fixture into a hostile environment for the Bundesliga side.

Standings and Upcoming European Fixtures
With two wins from two matches, Beşiktaş sits second in the UEFA Europa League league phase standings with six points. Hoffenheim occupies 30th place without a point after two rounds, according to Ajansspor. In the third matchweek, Beşiktaş will host English club Crystal Palace in Istanbul, while Hoffenheim faces Lyon in Germany, Hürriyet reported.
