Pallacanestro Reggiana secured an 82-65 victory against Czech club Pardubice at the PalaBigi, opening their Basketball Champions League Group E campaign with a win following two defeats in LBA play. The Italian side maintained control throughout the 40-minute contest to defend their home floor.

Barford, wearing number 0 for Reggio Emilia, finished as the game’s top scorer with 23 points, shooting 7-for-8 from two-point range. Reggiana relied heavily on interior scoring, converting 26 of 37 attempts inside the arc for a 70.27 percent success rate, which offset their difficulties from long distance where they shot 7-for-28.
Pardubice endured a difficult shooting night in Reggio Emilia, entering the match with five wins in the NBL before suffering their first defeat of the season.
