FC Barcelona secured a 4–1 comeback victory against Galatasaray on October 13 in the UEFA Champions League league phase, extending their winning run to ten consecutive official matches to start the 2026/27 season.
Early Deficit Overturned in Istanbul
Galatasaray forward Rafael Leão broke down the left flank and delivered a cross into the penalty area for Alexei Batrakov, whose shot took a decisive deflection off Barcelona defender Gerard Martín and settled in the back of the net.
Barcelona responded before halftime. Dani Olmo forced a turnover in the attacking third in the 43rd minute, allowing João Cancelo to pounce on the loose ball and finish past the Galatasaray goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation. The equalizer sent the teams into the interval level at 1–1.
Second-Half Surge Secures Champions League Points
The visitors seized control after the break. Fermín López put Barcelona ahead in the 50th minute, finishing sharply from close range. Anthony Gordon extended the lead three minutes later with a strike in the 53rd minute, before substitute Karim Adeyemi capped the scoring in the 65th minute to establish a commanding three-goal cushion.
The 4–1 result gives Barcelona two wins from two matches in the continental competition. The victory builds upon an eight-match winning start in La Liga and a 5–1 opening-round defeat of Feyenoord in Europe, bringing the club’s sequence to ten straight wins in official matches.

Lineup Adjustments and Upcoming Fixtures
