Alejandro Illán and Laia González claimed overall victories at the Carrera Nervión San Pablo ‘El Corte Inglés’ in Seville, which served as the fourth stop of the Circuito Divina Seguros organized by the local city council, according to local reports. Illán crossed the finish line with a time of 31:33 minutes, winning a sprint finish against José Antonio García, who took second in 31:35, while Carlos González finished third in 31:38.

In the women’s division, Laia González secured first place with a time of 35:49 minutes. Cintia Sánchez followed in second with 38:47, and María Teresa Díaz rounded out the podium in third with 39:11. In the specialized categories, Joaquín García won the wheelchair division, while Javier Reja and Susana Marín triumphed in the handbike events.

This year's race brought special attention to the Debra association to raise awareness for Piel de Mariposa (Butterfly Skin), and the challenges faced by those living with the condition. At the start of the awards ceremony, the City Council presented Leo with a Giraldillo sculpture to recognize his effort and perseverance.

Moments before the start of the 10-kilometer race, participants and organizers observed a moment of silence in memory of Carlos García Arco, the founder of Deportemanía and a prominent figure in Seville’s grassroots athletics community who recently died. Sports Delegate María Tena praised the winners and participants after the event, emphasizing the value of integrating sports into daily habits across all age groups.
