Regional Championship Context

This event forms part of the Emilia-Romagna regional historical archery championship. La Compagnia del Lupo, an association of historical archers and reenactors active in Parma since 2021, helped spearhead the organization alongside CSI Parma. The group participates in events such as the Palio di Parma and runs archery courses.

“This tournament represents a sort of continuation of the Tournament of the Five Gates organized during the Palio of Parma, and an opportunity to bring our activity into the heart of the city,” said Maurizio Barotti, president of La Compagnia del Lupo. “We hope it can be the first of many editions.”

Tournament Takes Place Sunday October 18 2026

The tournament takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Participants and visitors heading to Viale Piacenza can access the Parco Giardino Città di Worms starting at the 8:30 a.m. check-in time. For inquiries regarding the tournament, organizers can be reached via email at [email protected].
