The 2017 Apartment Basketball Video and Initial Rumors
The viral footage dates back to September 2017, capturing an interaction between the NFL quarterback—then playing for the Houston Texans—and Khalifa, whose birth name is Sarah Joe Chamoun. In the short video, Khalifa attempts to dunk on a miniature indoor hoop while sporting a distinctive kitchen apron. Watson swiftly swats the shot away before flashing a smile directly at the camera.
When the clip first circulated years ago, it sparked widespread internet speculation regarding a potential romantic relationship between the two figures. Khalifa swiftly quashed those rumors at the time.
