Under the terms of the signed acquisition agreement, Park Bench has committed to mobilizing 18 million euros to stabilize the club’s operations and settle outstanding liabilities with creditors. The incoming ownership group takes over a restructured balance sheet that has seen the club’s total debt reduced from approximately 26 million euros down to a range of 12 to 13 million euros, with a newly negotiated repayment schedule stretched over a 12-year period, according to regional reporting by ICI Gironde.

Regulatory Hurdles and Administrative Validation
Despite the signing of the sale, the transition requires formal ratification from multiple authorities before it takes effect on the ground. The Bordeaux commercial court must formally homologate the new continuation plan, while the Regional Club Control Commission of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Football League is scheduled to review the change of shareholder ownership and the provisional budget for the 2026–2027 campaign. These clearances are essential if Bordeaux are to officially start their competitive season in Régional 1, the sixth tier of French football, following their administrative relegation.
