Young athletes from the Badminton Club Kemperle (BCK) delivered a series of standout performances across multiple competitive levels in France, highlighted by deep runs at the Circuit Élite and multiple all-BCK finals in regional youth tournaments.
Elite Circuit Success in Aire-sur-la-Lys
The competitive stretch began at the Circuit Élite event in Aire-sur-la-Lys, representing the highest tier of tournament play in France. Competing against top-tier national opposition, BCK players Johanka Ivanovicova and Inès Villard advanced to the semifinals of the women’s doubles bracket, securing a notable result for the top-ranked badminton club in Brittany.
Regional Domination at Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande
Simultaneously, club competitors traveled to Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande in Ille-et-Vilaine for regional competition. Margaux Robin captured the women’s doubles series 4 title. Meanwhile, the women’s series 3 singles event culminated in an all-BCK final where Cécile Lieutier defeated Zora Helary to claim the championship.
Finistère Youth Circuit Highlights at Le Relecq-Kerhuon
At the regional youth level, competitors gathered at Le Relecq-Kerhuon for the Circuit Jeunes du Finistère. Antoine Kern won the minimes division, while Noa Porcher finished as runner-up in the poussins tournament. Another all-BCK final materialized in the benjamins division, where Clément Jestin defeated Arthur Arend for the title.
New club coach Béranger Hébert, who accompanied the young athletes in Le Relecq-Kerhuon, echoed those sentiments, noting that the club once again maintained a strong presence across the competitive terrain.
Upcoming Interclub Matches at Salle des Cordiers
BCK shifts its focus to the start of the interclub season on Saturday, October 3, at the Salle des Cordiers. The club’s schedule features two home fixtures: the B team meets Saint-Grégoire at 1:00 p.m. local time in the Prénationale championship, followed by the Nationale 3 leaders, the A team, hosting Orvault at 4:00 p.m. local time.
