Adana Demirspor, which took the Super League by storm for a while, officially came under the control of the fans after the difficult period it went through. The blue-dark blue club, founded in 1940 with the efforts of railway workers, opened the door to a new era with the “Long Live Demirspor” campaign.
THE TRANSFER HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY COMPLETED
Within the scope of the campaign launched with the slogan “This crest is not abandoned, this fan will not remain silent either”, the takeover process of Adana Demirspor was completed as a result of the protocols made with Murat Sancak. The club was handed over to its original owners, the public, under the leadership of the Şimşekler Fan Group.
INTERIM MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN DETERMINED
In the statement made by the club, it was emphasized that this process was a “changing of the guard”. It was stated that all financial, administrative and sports activities of the club will be carried out by the temporary management organization until the permanent board of directors is formed.
In this context, Ertan Zeybek was appointed as the President of Adana Demirspor Club and Mustafa Kemal Üstüner was appointed as the Deputy Chairman.
“PEOPLE’S TEAM” EMPHASIS
In the statement, it was stated that Adana Demirspor returned to its founding values and gained the identity of “The People’s Team”. While it was stated that the club would be moved from its individual-centered structure to a corporate and social basis, it was announced that the association and democratization process had officially started.

The main goals of the interim management were to ensure the financial discipline of the club, strengthen the institutional structure, create a transparent and accountable management model and establish a democratic membership system. It was stated that the club’s current debt situation and financial statements will be shared with the public after a detailed review.

In the statement, a call for unity and solidarity was made to all Adana Demirspor fans and it was emphasized that the future of the club will be shaped by the support of the fans shoulder to shoulder. The message “Adana Demirspor belongs to the people again” attracted attention.
