Jean-Pierre Dauta, mayor of the town, surrounded by his municipal team, welcomed many Douzainquais, neighbors as well as several elected officials, in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.

During the World Horseback Archery Championships, held from September 19 to 21, 2025 in Lewisburg, United States, she retained her title as individual junior world champion and won a second gold medal with the French team. An exceptional journey which commands admiration and suggests a promising future for this talented young sportswoman.

In his speech, Jean-Pierre Dauta recalled that the year 2025 ends in a context of uncertainties, but invited everyone to maintain hope and continue to uphold the values ​​of fraternity, mutual aid and collective harmony dear to the municipality. He underlined the quality of well-being in Douzains, supported in particular by dynamic associations such as the Club des 4 Saisons, the festival committee, Les Elles Roses 47, the hunting society and the Cuma de Douzains. He also thanked Sarah, the town hall secretary, as well as the heads of department and agents of the community of communes for their valuable support.

The mayor recalled that the details of the 2025 activities and projects, including the construction of a new house intended for rental in Saint-Grégoire or even the maintenance actions of the municipal heritage, are presented in number 27 of Petit Douzainquais, to be published in January 2026.
