Toritani Takashi Lecture: Employee Welfare at Another works Co., Ltd

Another works Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Naotomo Obayashi), which operates the multi-work matching platform “Multi-work Cloud” that connects individuals who want to start multi-work with companies and local governments, held a special in-house lecture in December 2025, inviting professional baseball legend Takashi Toritani. This lecture was held as part of our welfare program to support the growth and learning of our employees.

At Another works, we regularly hold in-house study sessions with the aim of supporting each and every employee to take on challenges, based on our vision of “maximizing the opportunities for everyone who takes on challenges.” This lecture was held as part of this initiative, and was an opportunity to broaden our employees’ perspectives and promote their growth by learning from top athletes who have achieved overwhelming results across the boundaries between business and sports.

In the lecture, Takashi Toritani, who achieved the feat of playing in 1,939 consecutive games, talked about the concept of goal setting, the difference between accomplishments and growth, and the importance of self-awareness, while also sharing specific episodes from his playing days. The message from Mr. Takashi Toritani, who has continued to produce results, provided an opportunity for employees to reconsider their own careers and daily work.

In addition, in a session for executives held as a special temporary coach, he provided practical advice on topics such as the consistency required of leaders who lead organizations, the axis of decision-making in management, and perspectives on balancing individual and organizational growth. By incorporating the thinking and experience unique to top athletes, it was a highly thought-provoking learning opportunity for the management team as well.

Going forward, Another Works will continue to aim to create an organization that can continue to take on challenges and create a rewarding work environment through a variety of initiatives that support the challenges of our employees and support their growth.

Many employees commented, “It was a dream-like time,” and “I’m really glad it was a good opportunity to think about my future career.” In the future, Another works will continue to implement a welfare system and in-house events that emphasize learning and connections in order to create growth opportunities for each employee.
