Youri Tielemans is having another top-flight season at Aston Villa. Once again, Saudi Arabia has come knocking.
Last summer, the Saudi Pro League was already positioning itself to Youri Tielemans. The Red Devil was coming off one of the best seasons of his career and had changed his status in the selection.
At the time, it was mainly Al-Ittihad who was cited as the main candidate. Despite Aston Villa’s need for cash, Tielemans did not leave to join Yannick Carrasco, Koen Casteels, Anthony Moris and Matteo Dams in the Saudi championship.
In his element in the Premier League
Since then, the former Leicester player has continued his momentum, with a first part of the season once again of high quality. Alongside Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara, Tielemans rules the midfield and plays a big role in the team’s place on the podium.
Sacha Tavolieri reports that the Villans player has once again been approached by a club in Saudi Arabia (still unknown) for a transfer this winter.
His response was the same as before: a stay in the Saudi Pro League is not on the agenda. Next summer, however, he will enter the last year of his contract at Aston Villa.
