Perisic: Inter Deal Agreed – Transfer Doubtful

Ivan Perisic has personally agreed with Inter, it is reported La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italians hope to reach an agreement with PSV soon, but they seem to have to be patient for the time being.

Perisic played for Inter between 2015 and 2022. The Croat played 208 games for the Italians and scored 49 goals.

The two-legged winger is said to be interested in returning to his old employer and has reached a personal agreement with the Italian superpower. Internally, Perisic is said to have made it clear to PSV that he wants to make the move.

PSV does not intend to sell the veteran for the time being, unless an offer that cannot be refused is made. The Eindhoven team consider Perisic indispensable in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

The national champion can qualify against the Germans for the intermediate round of the Champions League. Inter hopes for a victory against Bayern. In that scenario, PSV is almost certainly eliminated.

The hope among the Italians is that PSV would be willing to talk about selling Perisic after the elimination.

Perisic extended his contract with PSV last summer until the summer of 2027. The Croatian international was also in the interest of FC Barcelona and Olympique Marseille for a long time, but opted for a longer stay with PSV.
