Palmeiras 2026 Kits: New PUMA Uniforms Revealed

Communication Department

Palmeiras and PUMA Brasil reveal the new HOME and AWAY uniforms for the year 2026. With unprecedented technology and references to the Italian origin of one of the biggest clubs in world football, the new jersey will make its debut in Verdão’s first game of the season, this Saturday (10), against Portuguesa, in the Campeonato Paulista.

For the first time in the history of the partnership that began in 2019, 100% of the products in the new collection were made from recycled polyester fabric, aligning the launch with initiatives already carried out by the brand and the club for a more sustainable future.

The HOME uniform is green with red details

The HOME shirt features traditional green as the predominant color, but innovates on the sides with sublimated stripes in green and red. The collar features the unprecedented hybrid “U” shape: green fabric at the back of the neck and white at the front, with thin stripes in green and red, reminiscent of the Italian flag.

The AWAY uniform is predominantly white, with a straight polo collar in the three colors of the Italian flag (green, white and red). The frontal highlight is two thin vertical stripes, one green and the other red.

The AWAY shirt has a collar in the colors of the Italian flag

Both models feature the club’s standard badge and a sign-off especially on the back. Next to the collar, there is a flag with the colors of Italy in honor of the Italian-Brazilians who founded the club in 1914.

PUMA and Palmeiras offer three different versions of the shirts: Player, Fan and Stadium, with different details, technologies and finishes to meet fans’ different price expectations. The Player shirt is exactly the same product used on the field by the Palmeiras squad and features a new fabric weave, with an exclusive textured design. The Fan and Stadium models have more affordable prices, with small changes in fabric and finishing. All versions feature PUMA’s dryCELL technology for maximum moisture absorption.

“Wherever there is a Palmeirense, there will be Palmeiras”

Named “Wherever there is a Palmeirense, there will be Palmeiras”, the campaign to present the shirts was produced in southern Italy, where Luigi Cervo, the club’s patron, was born. By reconstructing the scenario experienced by the Italians who, between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, crossed the Atlantic Ocean towards Brazil, the launch rescues the origins of one of the most successful clubs in world football. The visual narrative builds a bridge between the past and the present, starting from the aesthetics of the Old Continent to the climate of hope found by the immigrants who landed in Brazil.

The phrase that gives the campaign its name was inspired by excerpts from minutes of meetings held in 1914, archived by the club’s Historical Collections Department. At the time, many Italian immigrants were called up to fight in the First World War (1914-1918), which put the survival of the newly founded Palestra Italia at risk. That was when patron Luigi Cervo declared that, regardless of any mishap, a single Palestrian present would be enough for the club to continue to exist. With this spirit, the Italian-Brazilians who remained in Brazil reorganized themselves, beginning the glorious history of Alviverde.

“Palmeiras is a club that values its past, competes to be champion in the present and works to be even greater in the future. The pages of courage and resilience written 111 years ago by the founders of our eternal Palestra Italia inspire us to face all the challenges that lie ahead. May these uniforms full of history be marked, at the end of the 2026 season, by great victories and achievements”, says the president of Verdão, Leila Pereira.

“One of the greatest virtues of Palmeiras fans is never forgetting the club’s origins and perpetuating the feeling of those who came before us. I am extremely pleased with the launch of a collection that celebrates our immigrant history and represents what it means to be Palmeiras anywhere in the world. These are two shirts that exude emotion”, says Alviverde’s Vice President of Marketing, Everaldo Coelho.

“The intention of filming in Italy was to highlight and recognize the roots of the immigrants who came to Brazil to build their history. The shirt is not just a uniform, it appears contextualized in real life, as if it were always there, being part of that origin”, explains PUMA Brasil Marketing Director, Luciana Soares.

The launch campaign was filmed in Italy
