Cuauhtém Athletes Receive Olympic Uniforms | State Games Support

Cuauhtémoc, Chih.– Mayor Beto Pérez led the delivery of uniforms to young people who will compete in the volleyball discipline at the Conade 2026 State Olympiad. A total of 82 athletes were selected, in various categories.

This is the beginning of the delivery of support through the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, for the representatives of Cuauhtémoc in said tournament, in chess, athletics, badminton, basketball in its 3×3 and 5×5 modalities, baseball, boxing, cycling, soccer, handball, racquetball, softball, tae kwon do, table tennis, volleyball and beach volleyball.

The largest contingents will receive uniforms, and all will benefit from transportation, lodging and food. In total there will be 860 athletes, coaches and delegates.

During the event held at the “José ‘Pistolas’ Meneses” Municipal Gym, Mayor Beto Pérez recognized the talent of the volleyball players, who, he said, were selected by their coaches for their discipline and dedication. He wished them success and told them that they are already winners. He stressed that his Administration has committed to sports and culture as pillars of development.

Present in the presidium were the municipal trustee Luly Mendoza; the director of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Abel Antillón; the councilor president of the Sports Commission, Luis Arturo Rentería; and the president of the Municipal Volleyball Committee, Rubén Cano.
