Max Scholze left SSV Ulm to join CF Estrela Amadora, a resident of the Portuguese first division.
Arriving in Ulm in the summer of 2025 from FC Bayern München, the 20-year-old right back quickly found his place with the Spatzen. He played eighteen official matches in the SSV jersey and scored two goals in 3. Liga.
This departure to Portugal presented itself as a difficult opportunity to refuse, both for the player and for the club. SSV Ulm has thus validated a transfer which also allows it to generate income which we cannot estimate at the moment.
Managing Director Stephan Schwarz explained this choice.
“After Estrela Amadora came to us, an opportunity opened up for Max Scholze to join the Portuguese first division. The fact that we could generate a transfer fee weighed in the decision, and we ultimately accepted this departure. We wish Max every success for the rest of his career. »
For Max Scholze, this transfer marks an important step. Going from the German 3. Liga to a first division championship represents a significant sporting leap, but also a chance to establish yourself permanently on the international scene.
For CF Estrela Amadora this is a second recruitment in 3. Liga this winter. After the arrival of Tom Moustier from Rot-Weiss Essen, the Portuguese club is now securing the services of Max Scholze, confirming the interest in the young but seasoned profiles of the German third tier.
