Bayer Leverkusen is planning the second half of the season without attacker Kerim Alajbegovic. As ‘Sky’ reports, the Bundesliga club has decided not to make use of the buyback option, at least in January. The decision for the summer, when you would have another opportunity to bring back your own plant using a clause, would be made at a later date.
Just about a year ago, Alajbegovic moved to RB Salzburg for two million euros. He is developing splendidly there; after 14 league games, the Cologne native has seven direct goal involvements to his name. He also recently made it into the Bosnian senior national team. In the summer it would cost Leverkusen a rumored eight million euros.
