Badminton in Schorndorf: Weekend Games at Karl-Wahl Hall

Both the second division team SG Schorndorf 1 and the regional league team SG Schorndorf 2 have home games on Saturday and Sunday.

In the 2nd Bundesliga, the first team from SG Schorndorf meets TuS Geretsried (7th) in the Saturday evening game (6 p.m.). On Sunday, the fifth-placed Daimlerstadt team will host TSV Neuhausen-Nymphenburg (6th) at 3 p.m.

Schorndorf wants to continue the strong form of the last few match days with two wins against their pursuers. It would be revenge, because they lost to both teams away from home in the first half of the season. Very thin with 3:4 against TuS Geretsried. The final score at TSV Neuhausen-Nymphenburg was 2:5.

In both games, Schorndorf was missing an absolute top performer in Alan Erben. The newly crowned Southeast German champion in doubles and mixed doubles is outstanding in these disciplines. David Kramer still has a special score to settle against the Munich team. In the first singles he lost to Justin Seibel. It was his only individual defeat in the first half of the season.

The Schorndorf regional league team takes its turn before the first team. On Saturday (2 p.m.) the seventh in the table will play against TSV Diedorf (5th). On Sunday (10 a.m.) the eighth-placed ESV Flugelrad Nürnberg will be guests. The second team wants to score points in both games in order to move into the middle of the table.
