Memphis Goal: Cruzeiro vs. Corinthians – Was It Luck?

Even playing away from home, Corinthians opened the scoring in the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil against Cruzeiro, this Wednesday (10), at Mineirão. Dutchman Memphis Depay scored the Corinthians goal.

In the 22nd minute of the first half, Carrillo crossed from the right and found the head of Yuri Alberto, who sent it towards Memphis. The number 10 needed to finish twice to score the important goal in the semi-final.

In the first attempt, with a header, defender Fabrício Bruno made a save with his body, but the ball was clear for the Dutchman to roll towards the goal, with Cássio already sold on the move.
