Gyeyang-gu Tennis Donation: Supporting Local Communities

Gyeyang-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City (District Mayor Yun Hwan) announced on the 9th that the Gyeyang-gu Tennis Association (Chairman Jeong Woon-ki) donated 4 million won to support vulnerable groups in the local community.

This donation was made with a portion of the donations and participation fees raised at the ‘2025 Love & Sharing Charity Sports Club Tennis Tournament’ held on November 29th.

In this competition, 208 people from 104 teams participated and agreed to spread the culture of sharing in the community.

Gyeyang-gu Tennis Association President Jeong Woon-ki said, “As a sports organization with local residents, we wanted to fulfill our social responsibility.” He added, “It is a small gesture, but I hope it will be warmly delivered to those in need.”

District Mayor Yoon Hwan said, “We are deeply grateful for your meaningful sharing for our neighbors in need,” and added, “The donated funds will be provided transparently to families in need in accordance with relevant procedures.”

Meanwhile, Gyeyang-gu is carrying out the ‘Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign’ with the Incheon Community Chest of Korea until the end of January 2026, and the money donated this time will be delivered to vulnerable families in the region through the Community Chest of Korea.
