Inauguration of Tennis Ball Cricket Competition.

The inaugural match of the Tennis Ball Cricket Competition organized at Himmatgarhi Majre Khajuron in Rae Bareli was played between Gudha and Chandapur. In this exciting match, Gudha team defeated Chandapur by 2 wickets and confirmed its place in the quarter finals.

The competition was inaugurated by former Gudha village head Ramhet Rawat by cutting the ribbon and getting introduced to the players. He encouraged the players by calling the game a symbol of mutual brotherhood and discipline.

In the match, Chandapur won the toss and decided to bat first. In the stipulated 8 overs, Chandapur team could score only 58 runs after losing 10 wickets. The bowlers of Gudha team bowled accurately and did not give Chandapur’s batsmen a chance to play freely.

Chasing the target, Gudha team won the match by scoring 59 runs at the loss of 8 wickets.

The competition was organized with the collective cooperation of the villagers under the leadership of Phoolchand, Dinesh Kumar, Pankaj, Mahendra, Amrish, Arif, Chandrabhan Bajpai and Umesh Kumar.
