The Eladio Jiménez Pavilion debuts its new face with the Basketball and Volleyball boys and girls
The members of the UD Mirobrigense Basketball and the Ciudad Rodrigo Volleyball Club were present at the opening.

This new face responds to a demand made years ago by several clubs and pavilion users, given the poor conditions of the previous track. In this sense, Marcos Iglesias has emphasized that “It turned out beautiful” and? “On the part of the City Council we show the high commitment we have to sport and sports facilities, as it is a hallmark of the Government Team”remembering the change of lighting in the Eladio Jiménez that has also been carried out this mandate.
Víctor Gómez, for his part, highlighted the current use of the pavilion, which is “almost 100% every afternoon between daily and Saturdays”wishing that “enjoy” clubs and pavilion users. Tom Caamaño, for his part, wanted to thank the council for the facilities when working, emphasizing that “It was worth the effort to remove the old floor to put it all new on the original tile”.
This track is blue, in accordance with the pavilion, and orange, to give it a local touch. It is made of pavigrass, it is 6 mm thick and the cost was €39,000+VAT.
