Doncic ended up with a triple-double of 45 points, eleven rebounds and 14 assists, making him only the second player in Lakers history to achieve a triple-double with 45+ points. The other is franchise legend Elgin Baylor.
With his five steals to go along with his triple-double, Doncic also immortalized himself in the NBA history books. He is only the third player in history to record a 40-point triple-double with at least five steals. Only Michael Jordan and Detroit’s Cade Cunningham achieved this feat a few weeks ago.
