Jean Kindermans brought Nathan De Cat to Neerpede at a young age and today De Cat is a mainstay at RSC Anderlecht at a young age. Kindermans is now responsible for the youth academy of Royal Antwerp FC, but recently spoke to De Cat’s family.
The Cat is close to Kindermans’ heart. “I brought him to Neerpede when he was nine. I recently sat next to his mother at the Raymond Goethals Trophy. She asked me what he should do,” he quotes. The Latest News Kindermans.
Kindermans’ advice for De Cat was as follows. “Stay with Anderlecht for at least another season and a half. Don’t leave until you have a trophy in your hands. Make him captain next season and his market value will explode,” says Kindermans.
Finally, Kindermans gave several examples at Anderlecht and also Charles De Ketelaere who left Club Brugge. “Even a top player like Tielemans was not immediately the title holder at Monaco. The same for Doku at Rennes, Lukaku at Chelsea or De Ketelaere at Milan. Why would you sit on a foreign bench at a young age if you can be indisputable here?”
