Coupe de France: Dembélé Starts, Knight on Bench | Lineup News

Ousmane Dembélé will start the Coupe de France match against Vendée Fontenay Foot.

Paris SG begins its Coupe de France campaign this Saturday evening in the round of 32 against National 3 club Vendée Fontenay Foot. The third goalkeeper of Paris SG Renato Marin was chosen to the detriment of Lucas Chevalier to face Vendée-Fontenay (N3) in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France on Saturday (9:00 p.m.) at La Beaujoire, in a largely reshuffled team.

Coach Luis Enrique thus chose to give playing time to the man who has not played a single minute since his arrival on the bench last summer. The Italian Renato Marin is, at 19 years old, considered very promising.

Lucas Chevalier, for his part, will have to wait, having returned from an injury which forced him to observe the exploits of his theoretical number 2 Matveï Safonov from the sidelines. Wednesday in the Intercontinental Cup, Chevalier was ready to play but Safonov was preferred and shone with four saves on Flamengo’s five shots on goal (1-1, 2-1 tab).

Ousmane Dembélé, captain for the evening, and Désiré Doué, also looking for rhythm after injuries, are also part of a Parisian “eleven”, otherwise very reworked, with Gonçalo Ramos at the forefront or Lucas Beraldo in defense.

Vendée-Fontenay: Renou – Moisdon, Fromaget, Bremond, Leriche, Vinet – Bisleau, Keita, Diawara, Belbachir (cape) – Millimono

Psg: Marin – Henandz, Beraldo, Zabarnyi, Boly – Zaire-Emery, Mayulu, Djantou, Ramos, demélé (cap)
