The young badminton players Giovanni Retambay and Alma Ganz, from the city of Tolhuin, were selected to participate in the National Badminton Campus organized by the Badminton Federation of the Argentine Republic (FEBARA).

RIO GRANDE.- The meeting will take place from October 20 to 23 at the facilities of the CENARD (National Center for High Performance Sports) in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It will also have the presence of coach Cristina Bustos, from the Sports Secretariat.

The Campus is aimed at strengthening the technical and tactical capabilities of the players, in addition to providing knowledge about the official regulations, the protocol of conduct in competition and the comprehensive preparation of the athlete. The sessions will be directed by Pablo Piedrabuena and Romina Ayala, renowned BWF Level II coaches accredited by FEBARA, who also serve as national referees.

The invitation of the Tolhuinense athletes comes in recognition of the outstanding performances obtained in the Evita 2025 National Sports Games, where they demonstrated a competitive level that caught the attention of the Argentine badminton elite.

Under the technical direction of Professor Cristina Bustos, Ganz and Retambay prepared intensely with weekly double shift training, fine-tuning their game to represent Tolhuin and Tierra del Fuego AIAS in this important national Under 15 meeting.
