Justin Fields appears to be headed to the bench with the New York Jets having a nightmare start to the NFL season.
The New York team, in fact, lost all of their first seven league games and, yesterday, the owner Woody Johnsonhe aimed his arrows at the quarterback in analyzing the serious problems plaguing the team.
Justin Fields is recognized as having undoubted technical abilities but something isn’t working in him and the team management hopes for a replacement.
Woody Johnson was quick to point out that the final decision will be left to the head coach, Aaron Glennwhich, however, already seems oriented towards giving space to Tyrod Taylor who spent this first part of the season on the bench.
Justin Fields aveva signed a renewal for two years and 40 million and the Jets reserved the right to judge his performance to consider a longer-term contract but, given the situation, at this point that eventuality appears rather remote.
Jets Owner Woody Johnson just obliterated Justin Fields while defending Aaron Glenn:
“If you look at any head coach with a quarterback like that, you’re going to see similar results.”
