After a participation in the 2008 and 2012 paralympic games in archery, and those of 2021 in rifle shooting, Lyne Tremblay now has the Los Angeles Games in her viewfinder. But, this time, she intends to go there by canoeing.

The Estrienne first reconnected with kayak to facilitate its rehabilitation following an injury at the Panamérican Games in Santiago in 2023.
I had a back injury, I practiced two unilateral sports for a long time, which still worked on one side. I have developed a facetary syndrome. But speed kayak works on both sides. If you have a good technique, the risk of injury is minimal

Therapy quickly turned into sport for Lyne Tremblay, who quickly felt comfortable on the river where she trains, in Magog. I started to row in mid-June 2024 and I did the trials of the national team at the end of the month

The exercise was conclusive enough to return to the Montreal Olympic Basin in June 2025. During the last national trials, she ended up on the podium, alongside the Vice-reigning vice-champion, Ontario Brianna Hennessy. Both are in the same disability category.
She thus won her qualification for the world championships in canoeing marathon, which will take place from September 4 to 7 in Hungary.
I am not a very powerful person, in terms of strength. My specialty has always been endurance sports. And there, I really feel that I am in my area with the 6000 meters. For me, this distance is really a revelation.
It will be a first international competition for her since the parapaunamanic games. I will discover a new universe. My first performance indicator, it will be to have pleasure in the effort
