Badisadri Archery & Table Tennis: 300+ Players Compete from 14th

The 69th district level archery and table tennis competition will start from 14 September at Nikumbh, Government Higher Secondary School, Barisadadi. This competition is being organized for students of 17 and 19 years.

Chief Block Education Officer Manju Gupta took a review meeting of preparations on Thursday. In view of the rainy season, he instructed to take special precautions for the protection of the players’ toxic organisms and water.

Physical teachers are preparing sports grounds for the competition. The ground is being prepared with the help of JCB. The villagers have formed separate committees for players’ residences, food and snacks.

Senior physical teacher Nandlal Khatik said that more than 300 players of the district are expected to participate in this competition. The competition will run from 14 to 17 September.

Many physical teachers including Chandrakant Sharma, Dinesh Chandra Janwa, Jaswant Sharma, Bhagwati Lal Suthar are engaged in the construction of the sports ground. PEEO Vishal Kumar said that all preparations for the competition are being finalized.
