Brazil in the preliminary phase of the World Cup

A Brazilian team qualified for the round of 16 after winning the three games by group Cabout Greece by 3 sets to 0, against France 3-2 and, lastly, exceeded 3-0 to the selection of Puerto Rico. With the results, Brazilians advanced to the round of 16 in the group leadership, with eight points.

Meanwhile, the Dominican Republic advanced on the F-Grupo F vice-leadership after winning Mexico and Colombia, but losing to China.

How the 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Cup

The World Championship is one of the main volleyball competitions organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The 20th edition takes place in Thailand, until September 7, and the country’s capital, Bangkok, receives the final phase.

In the preliminary phase, the 32 teams were distributed in eight groups of four teams and played with each other in a single shift. The first two teams in each group qualified for the final phase

There will be eight games in the round of 16, four in the quarterfinals, two matches in the semifinals, the dispute for third place and finally for the title of the championship. In all, 64 matches will be held.
