The Badminton Association Berlin-Brandenburg eV congratulates Wolfgang Schuch cordially for the awarding of the DBV-Ehrenrings – one of the highest awards in German badminton sports.
Wolfgang Schuch is a real institution: for over 60 years he has shaped the badminton in Berlin, Brandenburg and far beyond. His career is characterized by an unprecedented voluntary commitment:

50 years in board positions of his home club BG Neukölln

35 years as treasurer and Vice President Finances in the Association

40 years of cooperation in the game committee, including 15 years as chairman

26 years of auditors in the German Badminton Association

40 years active in the North group – most recently as chairman until 2024
Wolfgang often fulfilled these functions parallelwith extreme accuracy, reliability and an extraordinary liability. His uncompromising, loyalty to the rules and equal treatment – even towards his own club – brought him respect.
Wolfgang Schuch has already received a lot of awards for his merits – including honors by BVBB, the LSB Berlin, the Berlin Senate and 2019 with the Federal Cross of Merit.
