Celebrating Tradition and Team Spirit: Les Archers du Lampy
As the festive season of wishes unfolded, Les Archers du Lampy gathered on Friday, January 17, to partake in a cherished tradition—the galette feast.Held at their archery range near the stadium, the event followed an intense training session. After stowing away their bows and arrows, the archers indulged in a variety of galettes generously provided by the sports staff and their coach, Marc Goujon. The occasion was organized under the auspices of the Culture and Leisure Association, led by President Christine Pretto. This heartwarming gathering brought together the club’s diverse members—men, women, and children—numbering around twenty, fostering camaraderie and team spirit.
Upcoming Events and Competitions
During the sports meeting, Marc Goujon outlined the club’s exciting calendar for the year. The frist major event is scheduled for January 26, with a trip to Escalquens for a selection round leading to the French Archery Championship (the exact venue is yet to be confirmed). This will be followed by competitions in Fabrezan on February 16, Alzonne on March 2, and a final event on May 11 at the municipal stadium.These events not only highlight the club’s competitive spirit but also provide opportunities for members to showcase their skills on a larger stage.
