KRTB Athletes Shine Luminous in 2024
The year 2024 proved to be a remarkable one for athletes in the KRTB region, with numerous individuals and teams achieving success both locally and on the international stage.
Paralympic wheelchair basketball star Cindy Ouellet,hailing from Rivière-du-Loup,was crowned ”outstanding athlete” of the year by CIEL FM and FM 107. Her leadership and determination, evident in her role as captain of the Canadian team, captivated audiences during the Paralympic Games in Paris. While the team narrowly missed the gold medal in the quarter-finals, Ouellet’s impact extended beyond the court, with her image gracing Cheerios cereal boxes, a testament to her inspiring journey.
