Spanish football is also going to stay at home, at least that of the Second Division. Most of the teams had chosen to exercise behind closed doors while the competition remained suspended. Now, with the imminent declaration of the state of national alarm, many of them are beginning to suspend training as well.
The two main Asturian clubs have already done so and have suspended their next training sessions. Oviedo has already announced that it will not exercise tomorrow in El Requexón, although it assures that, for the moment, it remains on Tuesday, although it does not rule out that it also has to be suspended in the light of events. Sporting, for its part, has stopped its activity until further notice. The subsidiary teams of the two entities, the two from Segunda B, also cease activity.
Other clubs that have announced the break are Lugo, Tenerife and Elche. Others, like Alcorcón or Ponferradina, are currently studying what to do.
These decisions show how quickly events are changing from one day to the next, since both Oviedo and Sporting assured yesterday that, with security measures, they would continue with their activity.
