    Petros Tsitsipas and Stefanos Tsitsipas fall tightly on the reigning champions of Roland Garros Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies in Marseille.

    Kubot / Melo’s title doubles the action in Rio on Tuesday

    Petros Tsitsipas / Stefanos Tsitsipas were barely points from a surprising first round on Tuesday against reigning Roland Garros champions Kevin Krawietz / Andreas Mies, but the best seeds were grouped 6-4, 6-7 (5) , 10-6 wins at Marseille’s Open 13 Provence.

    Krawietz / Mies ended a losing streak of four games in an hour and 29 minutes. They will turn their attention to a quarterfinal battle with Benoit Paire / David Vega Hernandez, who beat Alexander Bublk / Alexei Popyrin 4-6, 6-2, 10-5.

    Frederik Nielsen / Tim Puetz marked the day’s upheaval by eliminating the third seed Jamie Murray / Neal Skupski 3-6, 6-3, 10-8. The next are Rohan Bopanna / Denis Shapovalov, who gather to overcome Simone Bolelli / Jannik Sinner 6-7 (6), 6-3, 10-6. Jonathan Erlich / Andrei Vasilevski completed the game in Marseille by eliminating Cheng-Peng Hsieh / Denys Molchanov 7-6 (3), 6-3.

    At VITACOST.com’s Delray Beach Open, Nicholas Monroe / Jackson Withrow overtook Adrian Mannarino / Mackenzie McDonald 7-6 (3), 6-3. Waiting for them in the quarterfinals are the fourth seed of Luke Bambridge / Ben McLachlan, who advanced via overpass against John Millman / Matt Reid.
