Ryan Matterson has signed with the Parramatta Eels for 2020.

The second rower joins the Blue and Gold for a three-year deal, including an option in the third year.

Matterson is a Parramatta Eels junior and played for three years in the lower ranks representing the Australian School Boys and Australian Junior Roos.

"It's always great to see the return of a local Parramatta Eels junior," said Parramatta Eels Head Coach Brad Arthur.

"He has a whole preseason with the team and I know he will be an asset to our Club next year."

Matterson is starting his new club for the season this month.
