Wimbledon 2019: 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams drove past Barbora Strycova in straight sets to reach her 11th final of the grass court tournament.

Serena Williams plays for the eleventh time in the Wimbledon final and will be looking for her eighth title in the All England Club.
The 23-champion Grand Slam singles defeated Barbora Strycova 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinals at Center Court.
Williams converted four of her five break points, while Strycova failed on all three of her chances.
The 11th-placed American, who lost in the final of last year, will compete against Simona Halep in Saturday's championship game.
Williams needs another important title to match Horzent Court's record.
Earlier in the day, Simona Halep reached her first Wimbledon final.
The former number 1 reached the final at the All England Club by beating Elina Svitolina 6-1, 6-3 at Center Court.
Halep broke Svitolina three times in the first set and then again to take a 4-3 lead in the second. She won the competition with another break in the last competition.
The seventh-placed Romanian won the French Open last year and reached the final in Roland Garros twice. She also reached the Australian Open final in 2018, but her best of the All England Club had been in the semi-final in 2014.
