Maurico Pochettino is the perfect manager for the Manchester United job and could not move there at the end of the season, according to two former Premier League stars.
Tottenham boss Pochettino as the only contender to replace under-fire Jose Mourinho, and are willing to pay £ 40million to bring the Argentine to Old Trafford.
Pochettino has been tipped to replace Mourinho in the Man United hotseat Shaper Tottenham defender Jason Cundy and ex-United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich has joined talkSPORT to discuss the rumors on Friday morning, and agreed to move.
Cundy believes Pochettino would like to give Man United manager in charge of Tottenham with a relatively low budget.
And Bosnich believes the appointment could come as soon as this summer, should Mourinho fail to win a trophy or achieve a top four finish this season.
Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, former spurs and Chelsea defender Cundy said: "Pochettino has been punching above his weight at Spurs in terms of the financial battle he has with the sides around him.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or the two Manchester clubs have not got the same money.
"Coupled with that, they've had the problem of having a natural home. They've gone to Wembley and I think they've done brilliantly, absolutely brilliantly.
He is a good manager and I totally understand why Man United are looking at him, if they are.
150 yrs and the squad they have now, bearing in mind the little money he has spent at Spurs. "
Shaper Red Devils goalkeeper Bosnich added: "I can see it happening at the end of the season.
"If Manchester United do not make the top four and they do not win a major trophy, that's when I think the speculation might turn into something different."
