MEXICO CITY.- The president of the Mexican Soccer Federation, Yon de Luisa, has contemplated appointing an interim coach for the National Team games against Uruguay and the United States on the FIFA date in September.
The new president of Mexican soccer wants to take the time along with the Federation Council to appoint the new coach of the National Team.
Given this situation, they would appoint an interim coach to lead the September 7 game in Houston against the National Team of Uruguay and the 11 against the United States.
Those matches are the first after the Soccer World Cup in Russia.
Within the Tri have taken their time to analyze the options for the four-year process with a view to Qatar 2022, so it is planned to announce an interim coach this time to command the team in the matches that are in the door in United States.
Juan Carlos Osorio decided not to continue leading the Mexican team after his participation in Russia.
El Tri does not have a coach for friendly matches, so there would be an interim and maybe it's Ricardo Ferreti.
The options to designate the new coach are under analysis and until there is certainty of the chosen one, the final step will not be taken. It is expected that for the FIFA dates of October and November the chosen one will be taken to take the National Team to Qatar.
