Second Bundesliga: Union keeps pace

Union Berlin has won the pursuit duel in the 2nd Bundesliga and has jumped to relegation rank three. Against SpVgg Greuther Fürth the team of coach Urs Fischer won on Sunday with 4-0 (3: 0). With 23 points, the Eisernen are now three points ahead of Fürth in sixth place.

The distance from Eisern Union to leaders Hamburger SV is four points and second-placed 1. FC Köln is only a meter away. Joshua Mees (5-10) and Sebastian Polter (29/56) shot the Berlin with their twin packs for the first victory after four draws.
