Tenskin Nasukawa, the Japanese kickboxing prodigy, is reportedly switching to another sport on New Year's Eve and holding a weekly match with a boxer on a ricin card after weeks of bouncing over the ad details. MMAFighting reporter Marc Raimondi has information on the rules under which the fight will take place: Nasukawa will appear for three minutes at 147 pounds under "Straight Boxing Rules" at the start. How a winner is determined is unclear.

Under the conditions given, Nasukawa's impressive, undefeated record – 28: 0 in Kickboxing competitions – will not be affected by the result, whatever it is. Nor does the boxing record of the Americans he fights.
