Rayados get into the Azteca stadium tonight, with the chance to get a historic record

The results indicate that the era Diego Alonso with the Rayados could not start better and tonight has the opportunity to make history.
Monterrey goes to Estadio Azteca to visit América for Matchday 4 of the 2018 Apertura in search of its fourth triumph in a row, which would impose a mark in short tournaments and do something that has not been achieved in five decades.
The perfect pass of Alonso and his pupils in the Liga MX after three days is something that was not seen since the Clausura 2016, although never in short tournaments has he been able to start a season with four consecutive victories.
The last time the Rayados won their first four games of a campaign was in 1968-69 when they were led by Roberto Scarone. On that occasion they tied five victories.
It can be a special night for the Rayados who also seek to remain as general leaders of the contest.
However, they must end a 10-game streak without beating the Águilas in the Santa Úrsula Colossus.
The last time they came out with the three points of the house of America was in the increasingly distant Clausura 2012 when they won 3-2 with goals from Humberto Suazo, Darío Carreño and Ángel Reyna.
Since then Monterrey has not won and has even struggled to score. Only in three of those 10 games did he score and currently has a run of three consecutive visits without a goal against América.
Alonso had little time to prepare the game, he only had two training sessions with the whole team after his victory in the Copa MX against the Venados de Mérida. In each session he used different alignments.
In a test with Dorlan Pabon and Rogelio Funes Mori as headlines, but in yesterday, the Colombian and the Argentine did not appear in those who would start today's game, in favor of Jonathan Urretaviscaya and Jesus Gallardo.
Everything indicates that Alonso would bet to repeat the lineup that he used as a visitor against Pachuca and León in the first two days with Aviles Hurtado as the axis of attack. What is a fact is the return of Leonel Vangioni to the starting eleven.
Thus, the Monterrey will try to beat the America that marches with six points and also lurks the top of the general table.
It is clear that it is not a game for the Rayados, they can make history and on the bench they seem to have their main weapon: Diego Alonso, who is unbeaten against America in the Aztec as coach.
