Leeds United Player ratings vs Millwall

You could forgive that after the end of the game no fingernails are left. Millwall, who had trouble creating chances for most of the match, could have scored four in the same attack, and Leeds, who looked pretty solid, threw bodies to stop a second goal. Leeds should have been up front, but not taking any chances, but eventually the goal came.

player ratings

Baily Peacock Farrell – 7 – Could not do anything against the goal and was decent in most of his present day business. Was not mobbed by a powerful Millwall team at all and had to go with countless long throws and balls in the box.

Luke Ayling – 7 – Used as a wing-back today when Kalvin Phillips fell in the middle of a third back. Well done, and how he did not shoot, we will never know. Save some to keep it at 1-0.

Pontus Jansson – 8 – Millwall repeatedly threw balls into the pits and finally got one. Apart from that, Jansson was very good. A fact worth mentioning. Jansson alone made 17 clearances.

Kalvin Phillips – 7 – Another, who played well. It was an argument with Millwall, but I did not think the page was being bullied. Phillips played back in three or five, depending on how you look at it.

Liam Cooper – 7 – A decent game and has taken the challenge of Steve Morison and Lee Gregory. I was frustrated that he was drawn into the mid games before the game, but he got away with it. Sure had a good game.

Barry Douglas – 7 – Another who was very good on the physical side of the game. He came forward and helped to support the attacking game, but in Alikoski's performance he was alone on the left.

Mateusz Klich – 5 – I'm a big fan of Klich, but that role did not really suit him today. He was there to defend the defense, but that's not the best. Saiz was actually the other central midfielder and he will not get in much.

Samu Saiz – 7 – Although sometimes his decisions were lacking, his play was wonderful in part. He worked so hard because he had only Klich in the middle behind him and he put us on the pitch so often. Some of his dribbling was fascinating.

Jack Harrison – 7 – Was a constant threat when he hit the ball, but never really reached the right intersection. At some point, when it was really important, he came up with a loving touch and finish to get a point. Start settling down.

Gjanni Alioski – 4 – I said before the game that this was the game he was hiding in last season. He did not play and today was a chance to correct the wrong. Maybe not. Must improve for Tuesday.

Tyler Roberts – 5 – A big question today and although his move was quality, he should have a few goals. Only on the speed and no wonder given his situation. Give him time to readjust.

Adam Forshaw – 5
