A team crashes in the square while people cheer.

And the poor little goalkeeper looks frozen when the opponents press the gate.

But just a father, the ultimate "intrusive parent," who stands next to the post, decides to do something.

He leans forward incredibly and pushes the goalkeeper to the ground. His body accidentally blocks the shot – just so the ball hits an opponent who scores in the rebound.

The video was taken in the middle of Wales between Bow Street Magpies FC and Ysgol Llanilar FC.

Wyn Lewis, chairman of Bow Street Magpies FC, said it was an "amazing rescue."

He said, "It's a bit of a laugh and it shows what you can do."

And he joked: "We will commit the goalkeeper – with the help of his father – for a senior team."

The viral video has caught the attention of the whole world, with some funny comments.

One wrote: "Big rescue, pity about the rebound."

Another said, "Just attach a broomstick and make it a human subbuteo keeper!"

One wrote: "Number 8 had no right to try his luck from there!"

Another added, "Should it have, however, rage daddy."
