Istanbul "Galatasaray" will not be able to buy from St. Petersburg "Zenith" striker Artem Dzyuba because of UEFA sanctions, informs "Sport Express."
According to the publication, first the champion of Turkey needs to sell one of his players.
In June, UEFA fined "Galatasaray" for 6 million euros for failure to comply with the requirements of the financial fair play. The club will need to reach break-even until 2021-2022.
If in 2019 the losses of the Istanbul club amount to more than 20 million euros, then "Galatasaray" will be forced to pay a larger fine – 9 million euros. For this reason, the club can not buy players.
Recall that this season Dzyuba had two matches in the Russian championship and scored one goal.
