Bellingham attack after Alonso exit: “heap of shit”
Jude Bellingham defends himself. After Los Blancos separated from coach Xabi Alonso, the 22-year-old is annoyed by “clowns”. The Englishman also sends words of thanks.
Superstar Jude Bellingham attacked the media with violent words after coach Xabi Alonso left Real Madrid. “So far I’ve let too much of it slip, always hoping that the truth will come out in its own time. But honestly… what a load of shit,” the former Borussia Dortmund professional wrote on his “JB5” app. “I really feel sorry for the people who hang on every word of these clowns and their ‘sources’.”
Bellingham criticizes “misinformation for clicks”
The post refers to media reports. It was said there that Bellingham was one of the players who didn’t believe in Alonso’s tactics and ideas. There were also reports of a tense relationship between the coach and some stars.
“Don’t believe everything you read. At some point, these people will be held accountable for spreading such harmful misinformation for clicks and controversy,” Bellingham, 22, continued.
Alonso had to leave after a good six months with the Royals after too many uninspired performances from the team and the lost Supercopa final against FC Barcelona. Álvaro Arbeloa, the previous coach of the second team, has currently taken over the position. Real had success with a similar constellation in 2016, when Zinédine Zidane was promoted to the star ensemble as coach of the second team. But the careers of the two football teachers are not comparable.
Bellingham accompanied the post with a photo that shows him and Alonso with happy faces. Bellingham had kind words for the former successful Leverkusen coach. “Thanks for everything, mister,” said Bellingham. In a post on Instagram, the England international also added: “It was a pleasure, only the very best for your future!”
