Members of the Urban Guard, responding to numerous community complaints, uncovered a cache of seven weapons, including knives and machetes, concealed within the children’s play area.
The discovery, wich took place in the early morning hours along avenue Gornal torrent, led to the identification of six young individuals suspected of owning the weapons. The Urban Guard,deploying three patrol vehicles to the scene,apprehended two of the suspects who were attempting to flee. These individuals were subsequently reported for illegal possession of edged weapons.
This incident highlights a growing concern regarding youth violence and weapon possession in the area. According to recent statistics, incidents involving knives and machetes have unluckily become more prevalent in urban environments.
