In his statement after the win, head coach Yakup Sekskök emphasized that they knew that Büyükçekmece could show a strong performance on their home field. Stating that the opponent team attacked with a great rhythm in the first period, Sekskök stated that they needed to strengthen their defense:

Otis Livingston, one of the important players of the team, stated that the match was physically challenging and that this situation challenged their defense from time to time, but they won the match by focusing:
