ÖZATA Karamürselbey Basketball Team, which competes in the Turkish Men’s Basketball 2nd League (TB2L) Group C in the 2024-2025 season, will meet its fans for the first time in the third week of the season. ÖZATA Karamürselbey, who could not play on the field in the first week due to the Izmir Karşıyaka Municipality team not playing, lost 89-51 away against the Istanbul Güngören Doruk team in the second week. The Karamürsel representative will compete against the Istanbul High Touch HT team this week at Karamürsel Atatürk Sports Hall on Saturday, November 9, at 15.00.
“We will be in the best place at the end of the season!”
ÖZATA Karamürselbey Basketball Team coach Turgut Taşçı stated that he believes that his team will improve despite their late start to the season. Taşçı said, “We started the season very late due to negative reasons, we did not have enough training opportunities. We will get better every day. Our board of directors and technical staff made great efforts in this process. “We need a few reinforcements, by filling these deficiencies we will be in the best place at the end of the season,” he said. Turgut Taşçı invited all Karamürsel residents to support the team in this important match.
Club President Yılmaz: “We will be in the Play-Off”
Club President Bülent Yılmaz emphasized that ÖZATA Karamürselbey Basketball Team is improving every season. Yılmaz said, “We will take our place in the Play-Offs this season too. “We have put great effort into the team and we will achieve our goals for Karamürsel,” he said. Stating that he wanted to see the fans in the stands, Yılmaz called on the people of Karamürsel to support his team.

ÖZATA Karamürselbey will play away against Ada Yem Uşak team in the fourth week, on Sunday, November 17, at 17.00 at Uşak Sports Hall. In the fifth week, Ege University will host Daçka team at Karamürsel Atatürk Sports Hall on Saturday, November 23 at 15.00.
