The city of Santa Fe is the headquarters for the development of the twelfth edition of the Sports Games of the Central Region. From Friday, December 29 to Sunday, December 1, more than 600 athletes from the provinces of Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe participate in this meeting that stands out not only for its competitive level but also for its focus on inclusion and regional integration. with skills in both conventional and adapted modalities.
In this sense, it is worth noting that the official opening ceremony will take place on Saturday the 30th at 1 pm at the CARD (Raúl Tacca 600) with the presence of authorities from the three provinces. In this framework, in addition, the awards ceremony for disciplines such as conventional athletics, adapted long jump and judo will take place since by then these competitions will have culminated.
Programming and objectives
Based at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo (CARD), Regatas, Colón, UTN and Ateneo Inmaculada, the disciplines that take place in Santa Fe from November 29 to December 1 are athletics, swimming, basketball, volleyball, handball, hockey, judo, football and rugby.
It should be noted that the Games are a joint interprovincial initiative that aims to promote values such as friendship, respect and teamwork through sport. In addition, they seek to highlight the talent of young athletes in the region, promoting inclusion and personal improvement.
